Yep, another one. Alan left Sun a little while back, but is now leaving Spain. He and his wife are moving back to the UK via Australia (they’ve got themselves a months vacation before having to start a new life / jobs in London). A trip around the World is something I’ve wanted to do since my final year of Uni. Jon and I decided that we would go round the world together after graduating. We didn’t have the money to go immediately and once Jon had raised sufficient funds I found myself working in Madrid. Something I was not ready to give up at the time. First off apologies to my sister. It was good to see yourself and Simon over once again last weekend. Its a shame I wasn’t really able to relax properly as I’m a bit overwhelmed with all the things I’ve got to do at the moment. I’ve not put any real posts up here for the best part of 20 days days. That is due to a combination of lazyness, illness, busyness and general procrastination. To end our week’s vacation we decided that for the return trip we would take it easy stopping off at Cuenca for an evening. Having heard and read a lot about Cuenca, it was somewhere that I just had to see before leaving Spain. I wasn’t disappointed, the old town spans the immense cliffs of two river gorges with houses built the rocks. It was great exploring the twisty back stepped streets and taking photos.
